Frequently Asked Questions

What is a keyword mixer?

A keyword mixer generates all possible combinations from multiple keyword lists (cartesian product). If you have 3 products × 4 modifiers × 5 locations, it creates all 60 combinations instantly. Essential for Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Amazon PPC campaigns.

How do I use this for Google Ads?

Enter your seed keywords in groups (products, modifiers, locations), select your match type, generate combinations, then Copy All. Paste directly into Google Ads Editor's keyword field, or download CSV for bulk upload.

What are Broad, Phrase, and Exact match types?

Broad match — ads show for related searches. Phrase match ("keyword") — ads show when the search contains your phrase. Exact match [keyword] — ads show only for the exact term. This tool wraps your combinations in the correct format automatically.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything runs in your browser — zero network requests. No data is ever sent to a server. No account, no cookies, no tracking. Open DevTools → Network tab to verify.

What are negative keywords and how do I use them?

Negative keywords prevent your ads from showing for irrelevant searches. For example, if you sell premium shoes, add "free", "cheap", "used" as negatives. Click the 🚫 Negative Keywords section, enter your exclusion terms, and they'll be included in your exports with the correct minus-prefix formatting for Google Ads.

How many combinations can I generate?

No hard limit. Up to 5 groups with unlimited keywords each. 10 × 10 × 10 = 1,000 combinations generated instantly. Browser-based computation means no server timeouts.

Can I save my keyword sets for later?

Yes! Click 💾 Save to store your current keywords, match type, separator, and negative keywords as a named preset. Click 📂 Load to restore any saved preset instantly. All presets are stored in your browser's localStorage — nothing is sent to a server. You can also use 🔗 Share to create a shareable URL with your current setup.
